uncomfortable metal brackets and wires. Dr. Hancock offers patients invisible, or clear, braces to patients with mild to moderate orthodontic
problems to safely and effectively straighten their teeth. Similar to Invisalign, Dr. Hancock provides patients with the option of clear braces
through Smart Moves. The Smart Moves Invisible Aligner System is custom fit to your teeth to gradually shift them into place. This progressive
series of aligners uses an innovative Hard/Soft material that is virtually invisible. Depending on your specific case, two, four or six
progressive aligners will be created for you. There are two aligners for each phase of your treatment. The first aligner is fabricated from the
exclusive 1.3mm Invisacryl Hard/Soft material. This highly elastic, soft component is designed for maximum patient comfort, easy of placement and
maximum tooth movement. The second aligner is made of hard 1mm Invisacryl, ideal for retention and minor movement, used to complete the movement
for that particular stage. Each aligner is worn for two to three weeks. Throughout your treatment, we will arrange check-up appointments to monitor
your progress. As the treatment nears completion, Dr. Hancock will design a retention plan to help you keep your smile straight and healthy for
life.
Unlike other clear braces, Smart Moves is tailored to the individual needs of the patient with no preset number of aligners to purchase.
